Question 1

I've never taken an indoor cycling class, will I be able to keep up?

Yes, our classes are designed for all types of rider levels. You are in full control of your intensity and resistance which means you go at your own pace. If you're getting tired turn down the resistance knob, if you feel energized turn it up. You are in complete control of your ride.  


Question 2

Do I need special cycling shoes?

No, but we do encourage that you have cycling shoes. Cycle shoes clip into the pedal and gives you a more secure position offering a more powerful stroke compared to a sneaker or a different type of shoe. Being clipped in will also give your legs a harder workout for better strength and tone.  Our bikes are universal though, so you can ride with cycle shoes or sneakers. Our pedals are SPD compatible!


Question 3

When should I arrive?

Riders should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to start of class, especially first time riders. During this time the instructor will help you get fitted for the bike and make sure you’re clipped in correctly. We want to make sure we have enough time to show you everything about the bike and answer any of your questions without you feeling rushed.

Door will close 1 minute to start of class. We understand things happen, so if you feel like you’re going to be late please give the studio a call. If you don’t arrive to class 5 minutes prior to start of class without notifying us your seat will be given to someone that’s waiting to get in and you will still be charged.

Do you have water available?

Hydration is very important. We want to make sure you are kept well hydrated throughout the whole ride. We will provide you with a complimentary water bottle when you check in at the front desk.

How do I sign up for classes?

Our studio uses the MindBody app. Once you have created your account you will be able to check class schedule, see who is teaching the class, sign up for classes, as well as buy packages


Question 6

What is your cancellation policy?

To receive full credit back to your account please cancel class 5 hours before the scheduled class time. Once you cancel the class, your class will be added back to your account so you can take it at a later date. For monthly members a no-show will result in a $10 fee. If you need to cancel your 1 year commitment plan or unlimited buddy package we need 30 day notice.


Question 7

Do you have lockers?

We don’t have lockers but we do offer cubbies where you can store your belongings. We suggest you do not bring anything of value into the studio. NO cell phones allowed in class so please leave them with your belongings in the cubbies. Unplug for 45 minutes and use this time for YOURSELF!

Should I reserve my class online?

We advise people to reserve your bike online to ensure that you have a bike - some classes will fill up fast! We do welcome walk-ins at all times but cannot promise there will be a bike available.

Is there music played during classes?

Music is key here at SoCo. We will cycle to the beat of every song. Our playlists are designed to push you. Each class will offer a great playlist chosen by your instructor. Also keep an eye out for our live DJ and theme nights!
